CHEAH YOKE KQUEEN

Prof. Dr. Cheah Yoke Kqueen(谢育权) is a Malaysian Chinese contemporary artist whose practice explores cultural identity, memory, and expressive abstraction through painting and mixed media. His works combine traditional Chinese visual influences with contemporary artistic expression, resulting in dynamic compositions marked by layered textures and gestural brushwork. He has received recognition in the art field, having won awards twice in the Penang Art Competition, the Chin Woo Art Competition, as well as other online art competitions. These achievements reflect his growing presence and commitment within the contemporary art community.
