ALFRED YEOH

 

ANG TIN KEAN

翁丁健，1947年生于中国福建龙岩，1948年随父母移居槟城。在艺术家庭熏陶下成长，受父亲翁树欣指导，并受叔公翁占秋影响，奠定深厚水墨基础。现任槟城水墨画协会执行顾问，泰国曼谷商会大学客座教授，亦为多个艺术协会会员。曾获中国旅游风光绘画比赛优胜奖，作品多次入选国际展览，包括青岛、南京及“一带一路”泰国交流展，并参与全球巡展。曾举办七次个展，参与百余次国际联展，足迹遍及英国、澳洲、韩国、中国、新加坡、泰国及台湾等地。

ANNIE FOO WEI LING

Annie Foo is a Chinese brush painting artist specializing in traditional ink wash techniques. Her works are inspired by nature, specialized in flowers such as peonies, lotus, bamboo, plum blossoms —subjects deeply rooted in classical Chinese art and expressive use of colour. Her work reflects strong brush control and a deep understanding of ink techniques, reflecting both discipline and spontaneity. She developed a passion for painting at an early age and later refined her skills under a local master. Artist Statement: My paintings are a reflection of the beauty found in everyday life through colour and form.

APPLE YONG SEOW PING

Apple Yong Seow Ping, Founder cum Principal of Art Space Drawing Centre. Her paintings are all about life. Her art works are inspired by nature. Her painting can bring the feeling of harmony, peace, love and joy. She hopes her art works are able to open our eyes to the beauty of our natural world. Art Education – HungYang Academy of Art ,Penang, art lessons under the mentorship of Dr.Lai Kui Fang , Singapore artist, studio art courses at Conservatory of Fine Arts, Penang. Held 3 solo exhibitions & 2 Teacher And Students Exhibition. Participated in local and international group exhibitions since 1998, in Malaysia, Japan Singapore, China, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong & Taiwan. Won a Gold medal for my exhibited painting at the Metropolitan Museum in Tokyo, Japan in 2023.

自2012年槟城水墨画协会创立以来，积极参与会务发展，见证会员人数增长至300余人。曾担任两届财政，目前为理事，持续为协会贡献力量。 退休后投身水墨画创作，以绘画作为充实生活与陶冶性情的方式，在创作中不断学习与探索新的艺术体验。热爱艺术交流，曾多次参与联展，与同道分享创作成果。

CHEAH YOKE KQUEEN

Prof. Dr. Cheah Yoke Kqueen（谢育权） is a Malaysian Chinese contemporary artist whose practice explores cultural identity, memory, and expressive abstraction through painting and mixed media. His works combine traditional Chinese visual influences with contemporary artistic expression, resulting in dynamic compositions marked by layered textures and gestural brushwork. He has received recognition in the art field, having won awards twice in the Penang Art Competition, the Chin Woo Art Competition, as well as other online art competitions. These achievements reflect his growing presence and commitment within the contemporary art community. Although still young in the industry, Prof. Dr. Cheah Yoke Kqueen demonstrates strong artistic potential and a developing visual language that bridges heritage and modern creativity. His works often explore themes of transformation, nature, and emotional depth, inviting viewers into a reflective and immersive experience. Through continuous experimentation and participation in exhibitions, he is steadily establishing himself as an emerging artist contributing to the evolving landscape of Malaysian and Chinese contemporary art.

I WAS BORN IN PENANG,AND GRADUATED FROM PHOR TAY HIGH SCHOOL. I HAS BEEN ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE ARTS FIELD EARLY YEARS. IN 2018 BEGAN STUDYING CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING AND HAS CONTINUED TO DEVELOP MY ARTISTIC SKILLS. MY WORKS HAVE BEEN EXHIBITED IN VARIOUS EVENTS, INCLUDING PENANG ART WEEK. THE GREAT LOVE WITH ART CHARITY EXHIBITION.

CHONG HAN FATT

DATO CHONG HON FATT IS AN IMPRESSIONIST PAINTER WITH HIS OWN INSTANTLY RECOGNISABLE STYLE. WHILE THE IMPRESSIONISTS EMPHASIZE THE CHANGING QUALITIES OF LIGHT, FROM DAWN TO DUSK, HON FATT HAS CHOSEN TO DEVOTE HIMSELF TO THE BRILLIANCE OF THE SUN.

CHUAH SIEW TENG

蔡小丁，马来西亚槟城人，已故“峇迪之父”蔡天定的长子。自幼受家庭艺术熏陶，1964年赴英国深造，就读于City & Guilds of London Art School及Ravensbourne College of Art。其创作融合传统蜡染技法与现代绘画语言，早期偏重线条与抽象意象表现。作品多次获国际机构采用，他的蜡染画《猴子》1992年被联合国选为贺卡印刷，《渔村》1993年被联合国基金会筹募世界儿童基金选用。同时亦活跃于国际展览舞台，曾在英国、澳洲、中国等国举办个展，并参与日本、德国、瑞士、加拿大等地联展，为马来西亚艺术走向国际作出重要贡献。

DATO CHUAH KOOI YONG

Dato Chuah Kooi Yong FRSA Founder of Equator College . Graduated in 1960 from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts .Singapore 1967 Graduated from Hornsey College of Art and Design .London Held 5 - One Man Solo Art Exhibition & Joint Local and International Exhibitions.

EDA TAN SIEW LAN

陈秀岚( Eda Tan Sew Lan) 。退休会计师(CIMA,U.K.).拥有台湾国立台南大学美术系学士学位，主修水墨画，书法，篆刻，西洋画，文学史，艺术史，书法史等。 曾任多个绘画比赛的评审老师。 是多个艺术画会组织的会员，包括国家画廊。参加过无数的本地和国际画展和绘画比赛，获得多个奖项，包括＜亞太區兒童青少年中秋節繪畫大賽 ＞公开组‘’特金獎‘’，＜亚太水墨画比赛＞金奖，＜国际国画比赛＞金奖，＜全球兒童及青少年繪畫大賽 ＞公开组‘’超級金獎‘’，马来西亚美术家协会＜精英奖＞， 山水画作品入选 IFAM <2025 (Autumn) Malaysia International Online Juried Art Competitions - LANDSCAPE category>,， ，" Top 10 Artists" for India's Callisto Art and Culture <International Online Art Competion 2025> 等等。作品展出除了在马来西亚，也包括在中国大陆，中国香港，中国台湾，新加坡，泰国，日本等。

ENG NEE NEE

Eng Nee Nee born in 1962 Kedah, Malaysia. Life members of Penang Art Society, Penang Chinese Brush Painting Art Society, National Art Gallery, Committee members of Central Kedah Art Society. Since 2018, I have studied ink painting under the tutelage of Mr. Han Biao; in 2023, I started studying acrylic painting,oil painting. Currently I am a financial of Penang Ink Painting Association and Central Art Association. Besides, I am aso a member of Penang Art Association and Northern Art Association and Lifetime Member of Malaysian Women Calligraphers and Painters Association and Lifetime Member of National Gallery. I am a Member of International Art Academy and also Member of Japan International Art Academy. I am a member of International Association of Creative Arts.
